It's OK to admit that you've wondered about the varied kissing styles of Peeta (Josh Hutcherson and Gale (Liam Hemsworth), the two points completing Katniss' (Jennifer Lawrence) love triangle in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."[1] We've all been there.
Wonder no more: Lawrence was kind enough to tell MTV News' Josh Horowitz and Lenay Dunn from "10 on Top" about their varied smooch styles during "MTV's Catching Fire Fan Tribute"[2] live TV special over the weekend.
"I was in a former interview, I was asked to give one-word descriptions of kissing each of them, and I think that's the only way I'm going to answer from now on," Lawrence said.
She pointed to Hutcherson: "Spongy."
And how would she describe Hemsworth's liplocks? "Scratchy."
Oh, and, spoiler alert: Katniss makes out with both Peeta and Gale in "Catching Fire." Scandal!
Don't worry about Hemsworth's wounded (scratched?) feelings, though. Lawrence reassured him, in case he was worried: "His lips were more, he puckered more. You're not a puckerer," she clarified. "Not that that's a bad thing."
