It's a good thing Drizzy has all that acting experience from his "Degrassi: The Next Generation" days, because he might have to tap into his inner Jimmy Brooks come January 18.

That's when Drake[1] will become the latest star to both host and perform on "Saturday Night Live," following in the recent footsteps of Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Bruno Mars, who all pitched in on sketches and performed two songs on the show.

Drake will anchor the first show of 2014, and after performing for the first time in 2011, the upcoming episode will mark his first time as host. He got his feet a little wet back in 2011, though, when he popped in to the "Weekend Update" sketch alongside castmember Jay Pharoah dressed as a werewolf[2] to talk (and rap) to anchorman Seth Meyers about the disturbing Halloween trend of "bag jackin'."
