Actor Michael Muhney was reportedly axed from 'The Young and the Restless' after repeatedly groping co-star Hunter King.
The set of "The Young and the Restless" may have turned into a real life soap opera thanks to star Michael Muhney[1] , who was allegedly fired for groping one of his co-workers.
Muhney, 38, was suddenly let go from his role as Adam Newman in December, shocking fans of the soap opera who were attached to his character.

TMZ reports that the firing happened after co-star Hunter King, 20, complained to executives about Muhney's habit of getting handsy, TMZ reports.[3]

King's complaints were the last straw for management, TMZ reports.
King supposedly told higher-ups that Muhney had fondled her breasts on two occasions, both unsolicited and unwanted advances.

According to the gossip sits sources, Muhney's groping was only the latest in a series of incidents in which the star bullied and harassed the cast and crew.
Muhney confirmed through his Twitter account[5] that he was let go from the show late last year.

Muhney announced his departure from the show in mid-December, but left the reasons behind his termination vague.

"I'm so sorry. It breaks my heart to say this, but I was just let go from Y&R. My last day on set is this Thursday," he wrote on Dec. 17.
At the time, Muhney told HuffPost Canada TV[7] that it was due to is outspoken nature.
"Sometimes I've walked around with a big backpack of hubris," Muhney said. "This is entirely on me."
