The original star of The Bachelorette, Trista Sutter, renewed her wedding vows with final rose recipient Ryan Sutter after 10 years of marriage this weekend.
On Saturday, the couple who America tell in love with a decade ago said "I do" all over again in a more intimate ceremony in their hometown of Vail, Colo.
"It's an understatement to say I hit the jackpot," Trista, 41, said of the man she met on reality TV. "He is such a good person. He gets better with age."
Cameras captured the vow renewal, which will be featured in a special The Bachelor: Bachelor Love Stories, on Sunday, January 19, at 8 p.m. ET.
It's part of a series of specials ABC has planned to coincide with the current season, which starts January 5 (follow the link for The Bachelor spoilers[1] ).
Juan Pablo has a long way to go if we wants to top Trista and Ryan.
What is her secret to success? To hear her tell it, it's pretty simple.
"We met in a fantastical way, but we live a normal life," says Trista. "It's what we did afterward that matters most and was able to get us to the 10-year mark."
"It's hard to articulate[2] how lucky I feel to have her in my life," says Ryan, 39. "All it takes is a second for me to imagine how my life would be without her in it."
In fact, the events that have unfolded in the past 10 years, including the arrival of their two children - son Max, 6, and daughter Blakesley, 4, inspired Trista's book.
Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart is the story of Trista and Ryan Sutter[3] , along with advice from the popular reality star.
Congratulations to the pair on making it to the 10-year mark!
