The chart-topping singer celebrated her 24th birthday Friday while on tour in Australia, and she marked the big day with a verdant, garden-themed bash in Melbourne.
The fete obviously left her in blooming spirits: Swift posted photos of the rollicking party on Instagram, and the guest list included none other than new BFF Lorde. (In fact, Swift and the New Zealand singing sensation were spotted grabbing dinner together[2] the night before.)
"My 24th birthday was a Melbourne garden party. Thank you for all the birthday wishes!!" Swift captioned[3] an Instagram photo, before giving fans a virtual blow-by-blow of her bash.
On the party checklist? Roses[4] , red balloons[5] , sparklers[6] and, of course, Swift's trademark "OMG, best party ever"[7] look.
It clearly was: She caption that last photo, "The best birthday I've ever had."
Oz, she likes it.
