When we watched him take on life in the Australian outback laughs were aplenty and it looks as though Joey Essex fans will be given another chance to laugh at the Essex boy's hilarious "Joey-isms" as he travels abroad once more, only this time for his own show!
The TOWIE star will be touring Africa in a new show that is set to air on ITV2, with insiders comparing it to Sky1's highly successful An Idiot Abroad, which features Karl Pilkington, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
"Joey is happy to have his own show. He's a bit of a car crash to watch so he's perfect for this type of series," an insider told The Daily Star.
Joey entertained millions when starring in ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! When the 23-year-old made a series of hilarious revelations during his time on the show, admitting that he could not blow his nose properly and never learnt to tell the time.

Reports are claiming that Joey will be leaving his Essex hometown in the New Year for his so far unnamed show. However, the opportunity is said to have lead to the angering of The Only Way Is Essex's producers who don't want to lose the funnyman.
"TOWIE stars are rapidly falling off the bandwagon after receiving all these wonderful offers elsewhere," the insider said.
And scheduling conflicts could see the cutie unable to appear in several episodes of the next series.
"Show bosses are hoping the new show won't affect Joey's commitments too much but ultimately they are frustrated that one of their big stars might be unavailable to them."
It looks like I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! hasn't only made some major changes to Joey's career but also to his love life after reports he is seeing his co-star Amy Willerton.
The pair have posted countless pictures of themselves looking cosy together and at Thursday's British Comedy Awards the Essex boy even referred to the 21-year-old as "my amy".
"Nice to meet @wossy last night at #BritishComedyAwards his suit looked #Reem and my @amywillerton looked gorgeous," he tweeted.
However many are branding their romance as fake, especially after it emerged that the pair are worth £5 million as a couple, over half their worth as singles.
