Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez has filed legal documents to ditch her married name following her split from Marc Anthony.
The Hollywood star became Jennifer Muniz after marrying the singer in 2004, taking on her husband's real last name, and she is now applying to have her former title of Lopez restored following the breakdown of their marriage in 2011.
The former couple's divorce is currently going through the courts, and Lopez filed her name change request along with her custody petition for their two children, according to Tmz.com.
The stars both ask to be granted joint legal and physical custody of their five-year-old twins.
