Kate Winslet has given birth to her first child with husband Ned Rocknroll and the pair welcomed a healthy baby boy weighting 9lbs.
The 38-year-old actress and her spouse reportedly delivered the tot under the care of Britain National Health Service as opposed to going private and brought the new life into the world at a facility in the county of Sussex.
The duo are over the moon about the new addition - whose name has not been revealed - and shared the joy via a spokesperson.
“Kate had ‘Baby Boy Winslet’ on Saturday at an NHS hospital,” a representative told MailOnline, adding they were “thrilled to bits”.
Kate and Ned tied the knot in December 2012 after meeting at his uncle Richard Branson’s private Necker Island.

He was born Ned Abel Smith but changed his last name, however Kate did not take this on when she got hitched.
It’s thought the little one my use Kate’s surname instead of 35-year-old Ned’s, who works at Virgin’s Space travel department.
The actress already has 13-year-old girl Mia with ex-spouse Jim Threapleton and nine-year-old Joe with film boss Sam Mendes.
Kate will next star in the Labor Day movie out from December 27.
