Gabrielle Union is engaged!The 40-year-old actress made the announcement on her Twitter page yesterday, posting a picture of the gorgeous ring with the caption[1] "Soooo this happened...#Yessss."
According to Us Weekly [2] , the rock is an 8.5 carat cushion cut diamond and we have to say, it's pretty incredible!
Gabrielle's fiance Dwyane Wade posted[3] the same pic on his Instagram page with the caption "She said YES!!!"
Gabrielle said that she was totally taken by surprise, even telling her Twitter followers that's the reason her nails weren't done.
Still, many of their friends and family figured a wedding was in the works as the duo signed their Christmas cards "The Wade-Union Family," according to USA Today [4] .
Either way, it's pretty exciting...and we can't stop staring at that ring!
