British designer and Gumball 3000 founder Maximillion Cooper popped the question to the singer/actress on Christmas Day, E! Online reports[1] .
The Barbershop star, 35, first sparked engagement rumors Monday when she posted a photo[2] of herself flanked by her mom and brother that featured a large, sparkly ring on her left hand. The duo have reportedly been together for more than two years.
"Me and my mom and my lil brother Farrod just got to the English country side. Feel so #blessed to be with my family and sharing my life here. I pray that you bring 2014 in with people you #love. And nothing but #good #energy," she captioned the photo.
The couple reportedly split their time between the U.S. and London, but traveled to chilly Edinburgh last week. On Friday, Eve shared a festive shot of herself at The Dome, an upscale restaurant in the heart of the city.
"If #santa was real this would be his decorations. #lights #christmas #baubles #beautiful #edinburgh #dome," she captioned her shot[3] .
It will be the first trip down the aisle for Eve, and the second for Cooper, who has four children from his first marriage to Gumball 3000 cofounder Julie Brangstrup, according to U.K.'s Daily Mail [4] .
