Saturday Night Live: Jimmy Fallon Hosts

From left: Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon

This weekend's edition of Saturday Night Live was the early Christmas gift you didn't know you wanted as Jimmy Fallon returned to his stomping grounds. And in the spirit of the season, he happily shared the spotlight, namely with musical guest Justin Timberlake, plus a slew of A-list surprises, including Paul McCartney, Madonna and Barry Gibb.

Here's what you missed:

JT & Jimmy can wrap

That's not a typo – although they proved they could rap, too, in the show's cold open, in which they "wrapped it up" in costume as a roll of wrapping paper and a gift bag. Best present ever, right?

Jimmy & Paul McCartney also did a duet … and sounded great

No offense JT, but their take on "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" won the night.

And yet another epic duet

Fallon also teamed up with cast member Cecily Strong for a cold-hearted spin on "Baby, It's Cold Outside," in which the song re-imagines the true ending of the holiday classic. You really can't stay.

On this edition of The Barry Gibb Talk Show

Yes, that is really Madonna.

And then things got a little bit freaky

Home for the holidays? In this tongue-and-cheek sketch, Fallon reminded us what happens when the only thing getting between you and your significant other is your childhood bed. And that picture of you from seventh grade.
