Justin Bieber has released his seventh Music Monday track, the R’n’B inspired ‘PYD’ featuring R Kelly. Much like his recent new releases, the single showcases a more mature Bieber, confirming the cute teenager who shot to fame on YouTube is long gone.

In the latest track to drop as part of the on-going ‘#MusicMondays’ project, Biebs croons his way through a pretty sexy song about “putting you down” – and it won’t take older listeners long to work out what the 19-year-old is singing about.

The ‘Baby’ singer has delivered sensual track ‘PYD’, which includes a number of sexual lyrics not entirely suitable for young Beliebers: "Put you down […] up the stairs, / To my bedroom / Light a few candles” the teen sings.

With the help of R Kelly, Justin leaves listeners with no doubts about what he’s discussing. “On a plane, a train, an automobile / Doesn’t matter, Imma put you down,” he croons. 46-year-old R Kelly’s verse follows suit while Justin repeats the track’s title in the background.

Justin’s project is set to run for three more weeks and will see him release a new track every seven days to promote upcoming movie ‘Believe 3D’, which is due for release on Christmas Day. As with his previous weekly releases, the ‘Boyfriend’ star posted a link on Twitter, writing: “all ive ever wanted was for it to be about the music. #PYD with @rkelly is out now”. [sic]

His manager Scooter Braun has explained that the star’s new music is “very different from the stuff he had done in the past”. "[The songs are] very, very personal to what he's been feeling over the last six months, going through a tough time,” he told Billboard. “If you listen to the lyrics in these songs, he's pouring his heart out." The 19-year-old’s Music Mondays have been a big hit with fans and all seven singles have made it into the UK Top 40.

Justin, shown here in Brazil, recently took his 'Believe' tour to South America (WENN)

Justin has just finished the South America leg of his ‘Believe’ tour, which didn’t exactly run smoothly. The star stormed off stage after being bottled in Rio de Janeiro while food-poisoning cut short a Buenos Aires concert. He is due to resume touring on 23 November with a gig in New Zealand.

R Kelly already has one track in the UK Top 10 after 'Do What U Want', his collaboration with Lady Gaga, debuted at number nine this week.
