Eminem has finally debuted the music video for his highly-controversial track 'Rap God' and sees the rapper transform into computerised TV presenter Max Headroom.
The 42-year-old kicks off the visuals appearing as the 1980s character donning a black suit and tie with a pair of dark sunglasses before moving on to a variety of settings including the dancefloor of a nightclub where he changes into a grey hoodie while being swamped by a group of partiers.

The video, which was directed by Rich Lee who has also worked on Em's 'Lighters' and 'Not Afraid' clips, ends with the rapper saying: “Why be a king when you can be a God?” before he falls into the crowd.
The Slim Shady has been plagued by controversy over some of lyrics on 'Rap God' and has even been accused of being homophobic for using offensive language. “Little gay lookin' boy, so gay I can barely say it with a straight face lookin' boy,” lyrics include.

Defending his rhymes, Eminem said in an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this month: “I don't know how to say this without saying it how I've said it a million times. But that word, those kind of words, when I came up battle-rappin' or whatever, I never really equated those words [to mean homosexual].
“It was more like calling someone a bitch or a punk or asshole. So that word was just thrown around so freely back then. It goes back to that battle, back and forth in my head, of wanting to feel free to say what I want to say, and then [worrying about] what may or may not affect people,” Eminem explained.

'Rap God' is lifted off Eminem's latest album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' which stormed straight in at number one in the UK and sold near 800,000 copies in the US.
