After the last several Dancing With the Stars results shows have ended on a surprising notes this week had to fall in line with expectations ... right?

The ninth week of competition saw the six remaining celebs and their professional partners dancing for once again survival, with two routines apiece.

Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff, Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke, Amber Riley and Derek Hough, and Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani were declared safe.

That meant Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Bill Engvall and Emma Slater were in jeopardy. Bill and Emma prepared for the inevitable.

As Emma wiped the tears away ... Elizabeth and Val were eliminated!

The crowd cheered as the judges shook their heads at the result.
