Ashley Benson calls out Photoshop on 'Liars' ad - Detroit Free Press

Ashley Benson has an issue with a recent Pretty Little Liars poster ... even though she's also featured in it.

One of the stars of ABC Family's hit show made a huge statement via Instagram and Twitter on Thursday about the way she and her castmates look in the advertisement.

"Saw this floating around....hope it's not the poster. Our faces in this were from 4 years ago.....and we all look ridiculous. Way too much photo shop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It's not attractive," she wrote on Instagram ^[1] , accompanying the photo of the Pretty Little Liars looking pretty much flawless and dolled up in red gowns and perfect hair.

Benson has received tons of support through social media, and even from another one of the show's stars.

Troian Bellisario also posted the image (which also shows Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell) on Instagram ^[2] , echoing Benson's comments: "Wow @itsashbenzo I couldn't agree more. Very cool concept as always. But aren't we attractive enough women as we are? Why can't we just look like us. Once."

Pretty Little Liars returns Jan. 7.
