Britney Spears will be the focus of a one-off 90-minute TV special this Christmas, five days before the launch of her Las Vegas residency.
The star's E! special, I Am Britney Jean, is slated to air on Sunday, December 22 in the US, with a UK airdate yet to be announced.
E! bosses promise that the doc will provide "an intimate look at one of the most overexposed yet under-revealed stars of today as she faces one of her biggest challenges ever while finishing her album, shooting videos, doing press - and being a mum."
The show comes nearly three years after her last special, which aired on MTV around the time of her last album Femme Fatale's release. She also shot Britney: Off The Record when she released Circus back in 2008.

What will be shown in I Am Britney Jean, however, will allegedly be "her most candid and revealing interviews ever".
The show will come three weeks after the release of her new album, Britney Jean, which is released in the UK on December 2 and the US on December 3.
The tracklisting - which boasts duets with will.i.am, TI and her sister Jamie Lynn Spears - was released earlier this week and appears below.
