Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts has publicly revealed for the first time that she is gay. Friends and family of the veteran newswoman have known about her sexual orientation for years but she didn't think it was necessary to lift the curtain on her personal life until now. Roberts - who recently had a bone-marrow transplant for the blood disease myelodysplastic syndrome - says on Facebook she has been in a 10-year relationship with massage therapist Amber Laign. Friends told TMZ that Laign was Roberts' rock through the dark days of her illness.
