Ke$ha[1] has always been a fan of putting glitter on just about everything, especially herself, and in her new video for her Warrior track, "Dirty Love," she's letting the sparkly stuff rain on her own little peep show.
The video marks the singer's directorial debut, and it has Ke$ha's stamp all over it, complete with bearded drag queens, a bum-baring garter belt and a lo-fi, rock-tinged sense of rebellion as she struts, strips and pops bottles in a dingy bar.
While the video pulls out all the sexy stops, it is missing one thing. The album version of the track features punk icon Iggy Pop; the video version, however, doesn't feature the rock legend at all. It's unclear why the noticeable edit was made.
"Dirty Love" is the latest track off the glitter enthusiast's 2012 album, following in the footsteps of "Die Young," "C'Mon" and "Crazy Kids."
The second season of Ke$ha's MTV reality series "My Crazy Beautiful Life"[2] wrapped up last month. And while she's still releasing videos off Warrior, she also recently opened up to MTV News about working on the follow-up to the release. And from the sounds of it, she's not holding back anything.
"Right now [my new songs are] more dude-oriented, because I recently had this boy just be a total piece of sh--, douchebag piece of garbage [to me]," Ke$ha told MTV News[3] back in September. "He's just a lying sack of sh--, balls, sh-- -filled b---sack, he's just a giant pair. And he has a tiny penis, and he sucks real bad, so I'm writing about that."
She added, "Don't f--- with me. Out of all the bitches to f--- with. I'll write a whole album and tell somebody in an interview all about you, all the fake orgasms, tiny wieners ... don't f--- with me."
