Need another reason to tune into the Grammy Awards on January 26? Well, KatyCats, take note: Grammy-nominated Katy Perry[1] has just been added to the show's lineup as a performer.

It hasn't been confirmed which song she'll perform at the show. She's already released two singles off her October 2013 album release, Prism, including the Grammy-nominated "Roar" (which she performed at the VMAs[8] ) as well as "Unconditionally" (which she did at the EMA[9] ). So, she just might surprise fans. She recently confirmed[10] that her Juicy J collaboration "Dark Horse" is the next single off the chart-topping release.

Perry has two nominations at the 2014 Grammys[12] , including Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Roar."

This is hardly Katy's first performance on the show. She took the stage in 2009 during a fruit-themed take on her breakout hit "I Kissed A Girl" when she descended onto the stage in a giant banana[13] . Then in 2011, she debuted footage from her nuptials to Russell Brand[14] when she performed "Not Like The Movies" at the pre-Valentine's Day broadcast. And she got feisty in 2012 when she performed her breakup anthem, "Part of Me" after she split from Brand[15] .

Perry joins an increasingly A-list roster of performers[16] which includes Robin Thicke, Lorde, Daft Punk (with Pharrell, Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder), Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Pink and Fun.'s Nate Ruess who will collaborate together on their single "Just Give Me A Reason."

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will go live on CBS on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
