In the second round of Monday's Jeopardy!, tucked between "Books & Authors" and "Sleeping with the 'NME,'" was the category "It's A Rap." And rap, Alex Trebek[1] did.
As the contestants worked their way through the category, the 73-year-old host didn't just give the prompts, he laid down the rhymes. Trebek took on famous lines from Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre and Public Enemy, approaching each with the same silver fox confidence[2] .
Trebek's brief showcase of his rap skills[3] spread across social networks, putting #AlexTrebek on Twitter's trending list and earning him praise from hundreds of millennials.
This is not the first time[4] that Trebek has embraced the rap world, and hopefully it won't be the last.
