John Goodman[1] returned to Saturday Night Live[2] to host the show for the 13th time this week, and got into the holiday spirit with the help of fake camels and some whipped cream. Surprise guests included Sylvester Stallone[3] and Robert De Niro[4] , who joined the Inside Llewyn Davis[5] star for a sketch about three lesser-known biblical figures, the Three Wise Guys. Check out some of the episode's best sketches below:

Golden Globes: See all the nominations[6]

Obama Cold Open: President Obama (Jay Pharoah[7] ) addresses some of the mishaps that occurred at the recent memorial for Nelson Mandela[8] .

John Goodman Monologue[9] : Goodman stresses how much he loves his wife and kids and duets with Kenan Thompson[10] on "All I Want for Christmas Is Booty," which he dedicates to his wife.

Guy Fieri Christmas Special: The celebrity chef shares some recipes and invites some of his friends over, including Dog the Bounty Hunter[11] , Kid Rock[12] and Brett Michaels[13] , to help celebrate the holidays.

Three Wise Guys: You may have heard of the Three Wise Men, but you probably aren't familiar with the Three Wise Guys - a trio from Long Island and New Jersey who traveled to Bethlehem to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus.

Weekend Update: Santa Claus: After this week's controversy stemming from Fox News' Megyn Kelly[14] asserting that Santa Claus and Jesus are both white[15] , Kris Kringle[16] himself (Thompson) stops by "Weekend Update" to prove her wrong.

Hallmark Holiday Countdown: This hilarious parody commercial teases all the holiday programming on the Hallmark Channel[17] , including "On Dasher, On Danza" and "Yes Virginia, There Is a Santana."

Last Call: In the latest iteration of this recurring sketch, two lonely strangers (Goodman andKate McKinnon[18] ) make a drunken connection in a bar, spurred on by her Santa Claus fetish.
