Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has reportedly been confirmed to play Sarah Connor in the anticipated Terminator reboot.
The 26-year-old British actress, who plays Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series, is said to have landed the key role after beating off competition from 21 Jump Street star Brie Larson, Deadline have reported.
Director Alan Taylor reportedly wanted Emilia on board after working with the actress when he directed a number of episodes of Game of Thrones.
Emilia will star alongside original Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger while Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke is said to be in negotiations to play Sarah’s son John Connor, a role that Tom Hardy has also been linked to.

About Time's Margot Robbie is also rumoured to be up for a role while Schwarzenegger will be back, for the first time since 2003's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
The last Terminator film was 2009's Terminator Salvation, which starred Christian Bale as John and Sam Worthington, whilst Taylor's fifth film is scheduled for release in the summer of 2015.
