The Center for Youth Services says Fashion Week not only met its goal, but it exceeded it.

Executive Director Elaine Spaull says the total amount raised is more than $150,000 after expenses. The money will go toward three facilities that help young people who are homeless in our our area.

Meghan Mundy, Fashion Week of Rochester, said, “It makes me feel like we live in a really generous community. A community of people that care about the children, but that also enjoy the wonderful, beautiful things that Rochester has to offer.”

Organizers say next year's Fashion Week will be six days instead of five. It will be held between October 14 and 19. One of the featured event is a five mile trail run called “Mess the Dress”, where runners are encouraged to dress up.
