Beyonce has caused quite a stir with her surprise self-titled new album and the singer treated fans to a performance of LP track 'XO' for the first time during her gig at Chicago's United Centre on Friday night (December 13).
Bey's gig was part of her mammoth Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and on the day of the album's release, she added the new track to her setlist.

She said: "I'm gonna sing this song, which is a brand new song. It hasn't even been out for 24 hours. I want to sing this to y'all because it was written for y'all.
"This is the first time. Something I'll never forget."
'XO' was produced by the singer herself and OneRepublic star Ryan Tedder.

Beyonce's new album is set to sell an incredible 600,000 copies in its first frame, without any specific promotion.
The Billboard tracking week runs Tuesday to Monday, and with Beyonce's eponymous fifth album released on a Friday, that means it will have only four days' worth of sales going for it when next week's chart is tallied up.
However, despite being released exclusively on iTunes[1] , it is reportedly on course to have shifted an astronomical 600,000 copies in the US alone by the close of business tomorrow (December 16).
