Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams in 'American Hustle.'

Movie-goers who have already caught David O. Russell's 1970s crime drama "American Hustle" saw a lot of on-screen kissing, but focused on one in particular: A liplock between Amy Adams^[1] and Jennifer Lawrence.

Adams, who plays the grafter mistress of a con man, spoke about the scene during an interview with "Extra."

"She does a great job at it! She has very soft lips’" Adams, 39, gushed. "She's a really awesome woman. Everyone's chemistry is so electric in this."

"The volatile energy between Jennifer and I, it almost borders on intimacy because it's so immediate and so there and then she kisses me."

Adams gushed 'She has very soft lips.'

Lawrence, 23, plays the wife of Adam's boyfriend, so acting out some tension was involved.

"Getting to fight with Amy was just the funniest," Adams said. "We'd be cracking up, they'd call cut and we'd just start laughing."

"These kind of women are just so fun to play," she continued. "And then we kissed. It was great!"'
