Let the silly walks commence! Monty Python[1] is reuniting for the first time[2] in 30 years, the BBC[3] reports.

"We're getting together and putting on a show actually. It's real," Terry Jones[4] told the BBC. "I'm quite excited about it. I hope it makes us a lot of money. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!"

Living members of the British comedy troupe John Cleese[6] , Eric Idle,[7] Terry Gilliam[8] , Michael Palin[9] and Jones will come together for a stage show, which will be announced officially at a press conference on Thursday in London, where the Monty Python-inspired musical Spamalot is currently running. The sixth member, Graham Chapman[10] , died in 1989.

Monty Python first hit the scene with their surreal sketch comedy show Monty Python's Flying Circus [11] , which ran from 1969-1974. Some of their most iconic and frequently quoted sketches include "The Minsitry of Silly Walks," "Dead Parrot," "The Lumberjack Song," "Nudge Nudge" and "Cheese Shop."
