The 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on November 21, and where Marc Anthony, Draco Rosa, and Carlos Vives split the top awards for the night.

According to Reuters[1] , Anthony won record of the year for "Vivir Mi Vida" or "Live My Life." Like much of his latest album 3.0, “Vivir Mi Vida” talks of life’s difficult moments, undoubtedly, including Anthony’s divorce with wife Jennifer Lopez.

The Latin Grammys and usually over the top with effects and large numbers, but this year seemed tame. There was no twerking or furries running around and The New York Times[2] suggests that the subdued show was due to more ballads being up for awards this year than in past years.

Draco Rosa picked up album of the year for his release Vida which includes a collaboration with fellow ex-Menudo member Ricky Martin.

Making a comeback at the age of 52, and the appropriately titled "Volvi A Nacer" or "Born Again," Colombian singer Carlos Vives won song of the year.
