Hugh Jackman revealed Thursday he had skin cancer removed from his nose.
The “Wolverine” star used Instagram to credit his wife Deborra-Lee Furness for urging him to get a growth examined by a doctor.
“Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy she was right!” he posted with a photo on Instagram.
Jackman said he was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, which usually appears as a red or pale lump. It is not considered the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
He used the revelation to urge fans to see if they have the same ailment. “Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked!”
